The vest border encasing the LED strip can be opened so that the LEDS can be removed, allowing you to easily wash the vest. The inside of the vest has a pocket for a rechargeable battery used to power the LEDS. Due to shipping regulations, the battery must be purchased separately. See our recommendations below.
